Sally DiCesare, RDH, CST - CranioSacral Therapist

Philosophy Sally's promise is to help you find peace by connecting with
your inner strength. "The wonderful
thing about CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is that a session can be a profound learning experience or can focus on pain relief,
it is your choice. Our sessions will be as deep as your mind and your body are ready to accept."
Sally offers years of experience in listening
and hearing what each individual needs and wants to every CST session. In her work as a dental hygienist she has learned
to support people in their progress and knowledge of oral health. During bodywork sessions, She brings the same gentle,
intuitive guidance and support of each person's process. By supporting the release of painful fascial restrictions
then, over time, discovering the root cause of certain issues, one can connect with their true self.
Sally is especially skilled in working with people who have TMJ issues, have had
oral surgery, malocclusion, and orthodontics or simply have chronic issues. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CranioSacral Therapy, or
CST, is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral
system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions
in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. The client lies comfortably on their
back while fully clothed. By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as
a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical
problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including: - Migraine Headaches
- Chronic Neck and Back Pain
- Motor-Coordination
Impairments
- Colic
- Autism
- Central Nervous System Disorders
- Orthopedic Problems
- Traumatic
Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
- Scoliosis
- Infantile Disorders
- Learning Disabilities
- Chronic Fatigue
- Emotional Difficulties
- Stress
and Tension-Related Problems
- Fibromyalgia
and other Connective-Tissue Disorders
- Temporomandibular
Joint Syndrome (TMJ)
- Neurovascular
or Immune Disorders
- Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder
- Post-Surgical Dysfunction

SomatoEmotional Release, or SER, is a therapeutic
process that uses and expands on the principles of CranioSacral Therapy to help rid the mind and body of the residual effects
of trauma. This therapy can be combined with a CST session or stand alone in a session totally devoted to releasing energy cysts
trapped in the body tissues. All sessions take place on the BioMat, a therapeutic mat of amethyst which emits far infrared rays and negative ions,
all support the body in its healing process. Each session is one hour costing $100. Cash, checks or paypal are welcome. Please contact Sally via phone 703-220-9882 or email ssdicesare@aol.com with questions or to schedule an appointment.
Professional Background After graduating in 1978 with a degree in Dental Hygiene, Sally has been a practicing RDH in northern Virginia.
In 1994 a friend suggested they take a class together presented by Upledger Institute. That was the beginning of a
new avenue of education and learning to live. Since that time, after getting her Ordination,
she has been offering her hands to be used as a comfort and support to those in discomfort. Her training includes
many levels of CranioSacral Therapy, several levels of SomatoEmotional Release, and Heart Centered Therapy. What Her Clients
Are Saying:
Our daughter has had the pleasure of seeing Sally DiCesare for cranialsacral therapy for three years now. We came to Sally when our daughter was going through
the dental process of palate extension to make room of permanent teeth. Without this process,
multiple teeth would have had to be extracted. Sally helped keep everything in balance as our
daughter’s palate changed.
The wonderful added benefit our daughter receives from working with Sally is balance. Sally’s
work has helped our daughter remain centered and confident as she copes with life’s challenges and physical
changes. Our daughter (and our family) benefits greatly from knowing and working with Sally.
H&H ----------
I get really happy when I know that I will see Miss Sally. She makes me feel calmer.
It helps me be less aggravated and annoyed. She rocks my spine and it feels good.
Miss Sally helps me think positively.
